About the show
Presented by BOSA Properties
After three seasons of productions for Young Audiences celebrating the beloved works of Robert Munsch, Beach House Theatre is proud to present something a little different in this year’s fast-paced and family friendly offering: Aesop’s Fables!
Fans of our previous Munsch shows will be pleased to see some familiar elements, as once again our audiences will be treated to a series of stories told by a dynamic cast of performers who will transform themselves into a variety of characters before your eyes. Most of us have learned valuable lessons from Aesop’s timeless classics, such as The Tortoise and the Hare or The Boy Who Cried Wolf, but nobody tells these tales quite like Wolfie, Harriet, Syd and Barry – a mysterious troupe of traveling storytellers who have a few exciting tricks up their sleeves.
Featuring the fables: The North Wind and the Sun, The Tortoise and the Hare, The Lion and the Mouse, The Boy Who Cried Wolf, and The Wolf and the Jackdaw, brilliantly interwoven by playwright Mike Kenny with music, mischief and fun. You don’t want to miss this afternoon of entertainment for the whole family!
